Q. Who can apply for Tatkal service?
Any citizen requiring urgent processing of RTS services can apply. Valid ID proof and supporting documents are mandatory.
Q. How quickly will Tatkal requests be processed?
Tatkal requests are prioritized and usually completed within 24 hours / 2 days, subject to document verification.
Q. Is there an extra fee for Tatkal service?
Yes, an additional Tatkal fee is applicable.
Q. Which services are eligible for home delivery?
Certificates (Birth, Death, Marriage), Property Tax Receipts, and Approved Challans are available for home delivery.
Q. How long does home delivery take?
Typically 3–5 working days after approval, depending on location.
Q. What if my Tatkal request is delayed or delivery fails?
You can raise a complaint through the Grievance Section of the RTS portal or contact the Municipal Corporation.
Instructions
- For Birth and Death Service, only family members with a blood relation can apply for Birth and Death Registration Service.
- For one service request, a single registered mobile number may be used to issue four to five requests.
- If the information provided in the application is found to be incorrect, the application shall be rejected.
- In case of rejection, the fees paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
- It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all details furnished are accurate and complete before submission.
- This policy is binding as per Municipal Corporation rules and shall be applicable to all RTS service applications.
